Live a quiet life and work with your hands™
In November 2012, after an entire year of self-employment, I sat down to reflect on the previous twelve months. Overwhelmed with gratitude and thankfulness, I decided to take some time to recharge and get re-inspired. Over the course of a couple quiet weeks at home in Brooklyn, I began to make progress on a personal piece—the first one in over a year. My mantra for 2012 has been the phrase, "Live a quiet life and work with your hands." Among the hustle and bustle of New York City and the busyness of a young career, this phrase has been a gentle reminder to make room for silence, solitude, rest, play, and work.
With that, I'm excited to announce my very first print available for purchase. This print comes in four different colors: Burgundy, Forest Green, Charcoal, and Navy Blue. Each 24"x32" poster is screenprinted with love by Vahalla Studios in Kansas City. And through the end of 2012, 100% of the proceeds from each color will be donated to a different non-profit organization. Click here to purchase!
